Very good all round cars, my mum and gf have got them and cant realy say a bad word about them other than they would benifit from a little more power standard.

Mate has one and we put the 1.7 puma in it and tuned it up should be running the same as a redtop after the flash tune the handling is insane grips so well and the gear boxes the shifts are so clean and quick

If the handling of my misses' 1.4 16v Ghia X is anything to go by, the Zetec S will be pretty good off the shelf.
Oil consumption though make sure it's well looked after. Don't be tempted by a cheap abused one.

You dont trash it enough 
It might be a good one. Its like the head gasket thing on rovers. Alot go at 40k, but my mates missesusususus' had a 214 and never changed the oil in 25k or something and it were on 90k miles and headgasket was fine.
Some good, some bad
Or in rovers case, bad, some ok

i do really like the imperial blue colour but i only seem to see them in that colour, maybe because it is a nice colour but i want something a lil different..
id like a white zetec s but shame they didnt make one 
so i think black its going to be..
