i think the whole car has cost me about 3k...the engine bay...about £800-1000...ish. I got the engine as a bargain tho coz it is spec'd up!

I think I'm going to do a Corsa on carbs I was going to carb the 16v but that is a major ballache apparently and just fucks it up

i got a corsa with a nova gsi 8valve engine, mines spec'd up 2 jus need 2 find out the right timing degree 4 the cams that its got fitted can any1 help lol?

I remember you Morley. I had a drive of your smoke grey Corsa. Can remember how hard it was steering at low speeds

I had a Black Corsa at the time, dont know if I'd put the 17s etc. on though

yea, it is...plus you get better response and better noise from the 8v. And the very nature of the 8v engine means they run better and are alot happier on the carbs!

yea. I have so much more room in the engine bay wit the SEH too...i cant get to anything in my 1.4 16v...it just fills everything! General maintainance of everything on the 8v is just made that little bit easier due to having the space!
