would anyone consider this a very good deal and buy a new 350z for 19k?
the company i work for was bought out by nissan uk a few months back and we knew staff discount on cars was going to happen, at first it was boring people carriers and pickups etc but yesterday there was an email to all staff and it now includes the 350z gt model, at 19k its over 11k cheaper than normal price i only briefly scanned the specs but noticed they are now 313bhp and satnav and a dvd player was included.
would anyone snap one up considering the current economic situation? is a 3.5 v6 sports car a stupid purchase when brand new right now?
i have the money right now to put a deposit down and the monthly payments were 280 iirc, i dont even own a credit card and im always good with money so i wouldnt be late on payments etc but its also a lot to spend on a car, even more so when 19k is nearly a years wage.
im lookin at getting a new car next year anyway but was more than happy at saving maybe 3-4k, getting a 4k loan and buying something like an EP3 CTR, LCR etc.
thoughts please

There is a new model coming out soon I believe, this is also probably why they are knocking them out cheap.

Yeah a smaller more compact one!
I would get involved though thats some serious discount.
Just weigh up what your plans are for the next three years whether you are looking to buy a house or not etc etc

house was an option for next year with a few mates, could still easily afford to rent as in total there would be 3 of us but buying was also an option between us 3 and im guessing i wouldnt be able to come up with a big enough deposit in time.
just had a look on pistonheads and this would be what im getting just on an 09 or 59 plate:

http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/820875.htm
the pics and gt spec i would be getting tempts me even more, but does anything think they have lost too much money already
would be happy with a EP3 CTR, LCR etc but i would be VERY happy with a 350z gt.

Awsome cars IMO and ive had two; but recentley the prices have dropped badly on them; worse than most that have been affected by the credit cruch. I bought a 53 plate GT back in Jully for £12.5k, you can now get an 04 with same spec and millage for £8,750!! So they really aren't holding there money at the mo

370z Is due out spring iirc. Ive also been in one - long way ahead of the 350z.
Nissan have a large physical number of stock vehicles that they are trying to push out. I saw some discounts yesterday for £9k...or £299/mth.

hmmm been reading on them and they do sound like great cars to drive like most jap coupes you cant get 2 adults in the back, and after looking at the 2nd hand prices even if i get it 19k in 1-2 years thats all its going to be worth, maybe less at this rate.
i could get a facelift e46 330ci for nearly half the price, and most bmws seem to hold there value very well. ok its atleast 40bhp less so not as quick, more common but they fit 4 adults easy, and better on fuel.
thoughts?

PCH with final payment option. Even the Murano was sub £300/mth over 3yrs. Forgot to mention that discount was the GT version with the Rays alloys.
