reason i ask is im goin see steriophonis n courteeners next fri night, dont really want to go back the hotel after its finished so where do i go? anywhere decent in the town center? ie thats open late!

Your no where near the town center mate

There is a couple of pubs across the road but thats about it

Head to west street then maybe leadmill, i think that should be spot on (leadmill is a stones throw from the train station)

leadmill and carling academy are open till about 4, you'll need to get a tram from behind the arena into the town center. if you get off the tram outside tk maxx you should be able to see the carling, leadmill is just a bit further down the road

Isn't that TJ Hughes? As said you get off the tram there, think the stops called castle square.... Carling academy is on Arundel Gate. If you walk past that on the same side of the road, past Hallam uni main entrance, down the hill towards the station, the leadmill is down there.

As said west street and the surroundings are good for bars.... if you get on a 'yellow' tram, I think thats the one that takes you right up onto west st. You get off the tram near a tesco metro...

like many people have said head to west street, all the bars are there depending on what music u like to listen to lava lounge is decent kinda chilled out dance, reflex used to be ok not been in there for ages. and crystal bar. other than that carling music acadmy and leadmill
