You can have an MOT done at any time. So save up and have one done in the summer as well - that way not everything is due near Christmas

yea i know i hate it lol, plus i have to renew my road tax as well this month lol, you can get your mot done a month before it expires, for example my mot doesnt run out til the 29th dec (shit time ever cause every where is closed lol) so i try and get mine done at the beginning of the month (dec), so i got mine done today, now mot runs out 29th dec 2009

I'm 99% sure you can have an MOT done at any time of the year

P.S. Get 6 months tax it's only marginally more expensive to do it that way, when it's up, get 12 months and it isn't due near Christmas

yea you can have it done any time, when i brought mine it only had 6 months mot but told them i would have a year on it and they were fine, but its very pointless getting done in the summer after only 6 months

oh yea i only go for 6 months at a time on my road tax

also deano87 how many miles has your 12v done?

But having your MOT done in 6 months time will mean it isn't due when Christmas is due plus it's likely to pass, therefore will only cost you the test fee.

I will u2u about mileage.
