i ran the wires under the plastics going along the floor then to the gromet in the drivers footwell (cant remember exactly where it is but shiny screwdriver will make it obvious.)

then i got a long screwdriver a poked a hole through the gromet from the engine bay driverside, then pushed the wire through the hole using the screw driver as the path to follow.

then i pulled the wire from the engine bay side. i had a hoop on the end of my wire so i used a cheap curtain hook thing to pull it. if you havnt u might be able to get your hand down the gap.

ps. make sure you dont poke a big hole in the gromet because it might leak.

heres a pic of mine if its any help (redwire)

The jolt of bass is just the amp turning on and off, mine does it all the time. My fuse has always been next to the battery too.

couldn't find that lol.
i was also used to doing it to smaller engines like 8v 1.2 where theres lots of room.

i dont think it'll catch on fire my old corsa had it for about 2 years and loved it daily lol. didnt make the base noise though.

also my amps constantly on according to the little green light on it. so is there anything else that'll make it have a bassy beat?
