VAT or duty, however they name it, it's just tax. Probably why no-one cares.

Charge foreigners for the use of our roads upon entering the country like all these east European lorries that destroy our roads day and night yet pay no road tax what so ever.

also, 200 quid extra a year isn't all that bad really.

it's less than 20 quid more per month, i'm sure someone who drives a big engined newer car can afford that
