Hi sean, thanks for the offer but distance is the thing, I am going to have a go tomorrow I will remove the rad and A/C cond and see how I get on, its just so bloody cold that I have been putting it of , its been sitting on the shelf for the last few months, sorry for imposing on the thread thenobleone. I will also help you with springs if required no charge well maybe a few stella,s

Mate paid £100 to fer 4 springs fitted
I told him i would have done it for less.

Do it yourself, I did my front ones, didn't have the correct size spanner for rear. But if your only having the springs, your will have problems at the back with the springs in the mounting cups, as a mate from college only did springs and the dampers were to long so they kept falling out the cups when he not pushed down to the ground( going over a crest of a hill, eyc.)

Oh well put it of again started stripping down and thought sod this lots to do and we need the car tonight so janspeed back on the shelf ,will have another go when I have the time could do with some help will it ever get fitted.

Not too cold here today, my sisters outside cleaning the Clio right now, can't be arsed to clean mine so just took it for a drive instead
