rite, im off to cardiff tomorrow, and my mates just bought a s2000.. after his CTR got stolen hes finally got another car..

so i just know this is going to end in a race of some sort.. so i was wondering on opinions.. as i know some of you have driven the s2000..

some stats i know of

2.2vx - 0-60 = 5.5
s2000 - 0-60 = 6.2

2.2vx - 0-100 = 16.6
s2000 - 0-100 = 15.5
2.0 vx - 0-100 = 12.3

2.2 vx = 185.79 bhp/ton @160bhp
s2000 = 186.63 bhp/ton

mine has about 160bhp now 145 standard, im not really bothered which wins but just know its gunna end up with foot to floor action..

i just wondered what everyones thoughts were.

the vx or the s2000

i know from standing to 60 leptons the s200 is slower and thus round b roads im sure the s2000 wouldnt really be much cop, but the motorway is different, generally more power wins, the vx was never build for top speed, 142 i think ive had mine to thats it

Been looking at both the VXT and the S2K.

Beginning to find the TT boring. The quattro is too dull, its weird to say it, but i cant remember what wheel spin is like! Its too safe and tame, i want something a bit raw.

The TT will do 0-100 in 14.0, and its bounced off the limiter at 155mph. So looking at your stats, the VX2.2 and the S2K would be slower. But i think they would both be much more fun to drive.

up to 60/80 im sure even the standard 2.2 will be just as fast if not faster, the vx doesnt like to go past 100 without a fight,

I'd like to see the VX win but to be fair even though on paper the VX should be better handing the S2000 is a more 'confident' car so IMHO its all down to balls.

the S2000 is geared to 150mph if that helps any chris

i've heard mumblings that they go faster but i've never seen any proof

i have no idea how fast it gets there either though

well we started on our journey and all the way down we didnt race at all.

too much traffic, fog, accidents.
