I'm going for a stag do over Christmas and have no idea what to expect. i have never really heard of anybody going there for a stag do as i thought it was more of a nice place for couples. are we gonna look a bit stupid walking round pissed out our heads or what?

stag parties look stupid walking around pissed wherever they are mate. i wouldn't worry about it.

even those places are fairly sedate during the day and liven up at night.
i think budapest is a bit less exciting in those terms, but i don't think you'd be persecuted for being drunken louts if that's what you're asking?

i just wanted to know if its lively really. we aren't a bunch of nobs so we won't have to worry about our behaviour. i just wouldn't want to be in a bar and look round and see its all couples having romantic evenings.
i guess it'll be like any city with its lively areas and then to more sedate parts.
