Got a small patch on my carbon bonnet. Whats the best way to get it off without damamging the finish?

T-Cut? I dont know if it would damage the bonnet though?

Fine Poly Clay - The bonnets got plenty of lacquer on it yeh?

If so, a bit of Quick Detailer and some clay should get it off

tin of thinners - will do the job - i bought a fiesta which had been rattle canned in places etc, took it off and left the original paint there. will do the job for you.

acetone is the best product, its the active ingredient in nail polish remover; I wouldn't use thinners because you don't know what the resin used for the construction of the bonnet is.

Test a small inconspicuous area on the underside of the bonnet first to make sure; then give the bonnet a good wax

I once used that purple stuff (?)to get off some gunk off paintwork previously and immediately washed the area and that didn't seem to do any harm?

Meths (purple stuff) might do it, but you're better off using nail polish remover because it's a bit more effective for this kind of thing than meths.

Do you know what the paint was? If its activated 2k you'll need to compound it out really.. If its rattle can paint just use cellulose thinners.

possibly, but you could score/scratch the gel coat - I'd be inclined to try nail polish first - but do a tester somewhere you won't notice first

Very Looks awesome, like a proper Impreza now

Well get pics up once I get my foglight stickers, did have a set but stuck them on upside down
