Was a thread about some a few months ago but we need a new one...
I currently have two electric shavers, some where I have to put the length guard thingy on, and another where its electric and goes up and down.
Its starting to be a pain in the ass everytime Im shaving though as the guards are never that good and as Im only ever shaving down to a No.2 sort of length its never perfectly even. So does anyone have the sort of electric shaver that does use the guards but you can change the length it shaves to?

Last time I bought an electric shaver it always left in patchey and uneven.
This was a few years ago, but I dont really want to spend £100 or so just to find its still crap!
Cant beat a wet shave with a brand new Mach 3

The ones you can change electrically? I have those ones, I dont mind then, but Im hoping something is out there which is more like the normal electric shavers where it has no guard type thing on and you can set to a certain height.

Just wait until you get proper man hair/stubble, none of that bumfluff stuff, then we could call you Craig Stubbles.

I've just purchased this:
http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/4427957/c_1/1|category_root|Health+and+personal+care|10199659/c_2/2|cat_10199659|Men%27s+grooming|10199726.htm
I used to use a Philips one similar to the above, but the lowest grade was 1mm. This does 0.5mm. Proper designer stuble And the Philips one wasn't very close either. It'd never look perfect.

Have a Braun 8585 self-cleaning shaver, cost about around £100 - works well
