Recieved a email off someone who my chairty that I founded has helped.
Have a really good feeling inside at the moment that I am doing good in the world.
In summary
'thank you for bringing attention to this deadly disease.....As a 10 yr open heart survivor, I am honored......This disease can take your life away in a breath.....I was fortunate enough to survive a total mitral valve reconstruction.....Other surgeons refused to attempt a reconstruction (not just a repair)...as a implant or mechanical valve was not what I was hoping at my then age of 29...and three little girls (ages 4, 2 and 8 months)......Nothing is more true than my profession of "my surgeon saved my life"....Dr Addonizio.....not only do I owe my life to him...but I went on to have my beautiful 3 boys......naturally....I am proudly in a small, but scar loving group to go on and have several children naturally.......
My children are currently showing no signs...but this disease has struck my family and with a fury...My father and my brother.....
Thank you again for bringing attention to this tragic, heartbreaking cause....'

Pretty good, we did a fundraising Gala 2 weeks ago and raised almost $18,000 so enough to keep us running for a bit.
