if you have a spare 5k lying around you could get 160-170 bhp. or go for a 200+ bhp one from sbd only 20k

pointless unless you conforming to motorsport rules

it will cost loads, and you would have just as much fun with a x16xe with cams/manifold/headwork etc

What James said, I don't wish to come across negative but it really isn't worthwhile on the 1.4 16v.

You can fit an inlet, cams, decat and a nice map to a 1.6 16v and have around 140bhp, all for around the same price as the TB alone on the 1.4 16v.

to be fair, insurance on a highly modified 14xe wont be far off a redtop anyway.
