Does anyone know if the excess for the windscreen actually covers all glass on the car.

A wire on my rear screen must be faulty as the power is going to it but its not demisting, ill be needing a new rear window i supose but not sure if the insurance covers this as ive only ever had to have windscreen work done before.

Anyone know,

obviously if they do cover it, i assume they will only cover it for actual breakage and not the wire fault i have, so ill have a word with some1 down at autoglass to see if they could put a crack in it first.

So is the majority of the glass demisting and only one copper element is faulty, or is the whole lot broken?

How do you know its getting power, tested it with a multimeter?

Check if it's windscreen or glass cover. If it's the former then you may be out of luck.

none of it is demisting so i assume alot of wires if not all are damaged.

Not really sure what else it could be, I checked its getting power with a circuit tester (bulb one) not a meter.

When i got the car it had a tint on the window which we took off, ive heard these can damage the wires when pulled off.
