(stolen off Pistonheads)
A recent study at Glasgow Uni stated that the average Scotsman walked around 900 miles in a year.
Another study by the Scottish Medical Association reckoned the average Scotsman drank on average the equivalant 22 gallons beer.
Thus the Av Scot does roughly 41 Miles to the gallon.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I drink on average at least 20 cans of beer at the weekend.
20x440ml = 8800ml
8800ml x 52 = 457600ml (457.60 Liters)
457.6 liters + 5 liters for festive periods and special occasions = 462.6 liters.
462.6 liters = 101.75 Gallons
900 / 101.75 = 8.84 miles per gallon

i drink about 30pints a week
30pints = 3.75gallons
3.75x52 = 195
900/195 = 4.62 mpg
but i dont get it
what has that got to do with miles to the gallon?

The miles you travel, to the gallons of beer you drink
Don't worry, i know we don't run on beer, its just a bit of fun.
