How old is the battery? Could be a duff cell which won't hold a charge long.

battery is about 2 weeks old, brand new from vauxhall and car also did it on prev battery so isnt the battery itself. 
 
works fine if you drive it every couple of days, but i havnt

alternator not working correctly so not charging the battery very well so only giving it enough charge for a few days, you drove it every other day it will top it up enough to see you until the next time

Carry out a charging rate test then on the battery with a multi meter, also, check the output at alternator too. You might ahve a corroded charge wire or a broken up wire and not getting a full charge.  
 
If still draining then you have a battery drain and as said MFD or possibly an ecu not shutting down fully.

mine worked like the above fine, but now the weather is shite its just killed it off, got a shite standard vauxhall one..
