So gutted To cut a long story short me and my mate went to the mfn meet last night. We were about a mile away from the meet when a cop car came right up behind me. My mate turned round to have a look and the blue lights came on Now i've only been driving about 3/4 weeks so I shit myself wondering what I'd done. In a hurry trying to pull over I managed to kerb my alloys a treat

The cop was a complete arse hole and spoke to us like we were something on the bottom of his shoe. In the end he said we were acting suspiciously and the car was attracting too much attention. He done his checks and let us go thankfully.

Heres some pics of the damage

rear wheel - the worst

Front wheel - not too bad but still damn annoying

Do you guys think that I'm going to need to get the whole wheels re-powdercoated or would it be possible to have just the edges done?

I'm going to go out and get some quotes later hopefully, what would you say a fair price would be to have these repaired as I've no idea

Cheers

I'm a real perfectionist though Think Daniels right I'd be better off getting the whole wheels re-done.

Any ideas on how much I'd be looking at per wheel to have them re powdercoated?

£40-£50 a wheel I would guess

Won't be too much of repair work, just looks like you caught them quite lightly which is lucky!

I know what you mean about being a perfectonist, if you can afford to have them re-done without a doubt get them done if not touch them up with white paint and little brush until you can afford it Shaun!

Chin up though, these things happen

tbh Shaun, if I was you, I'd just get them touched up/protected for the winter, then refurb in the summer ready for show season etc.
