Firstly any pics, secondly what do you do about the brake lines as they are to the drums originally? And need to be change for the calipers, help would be appreciated, thanks all! Also il do a progress thread on this conversion for others to see.

i replaced the existing section of brake pipe between the brake cylinder and the flexi pipe, as its a very small section and means its all nice and new

replaced it with flexi hose or hard brake pipe? Do you have any pics of the car or brakes dave?

sorry didnt take any, i replaced it with a short piece of copper brake line which goes from the caliper to the flexi

u2u me with all your questions and i will answer them
but there is a few ways to pipe them up and it also depends if your car was fitted with a brake compensator to start with

cheers boys, appreciate the help with this, vxr cheers for the pic. Avit i'l u2u u when i get started on it, might do it next saturday, my gsi has abs, not sure if that matters but would it have had a brake compensator valve?

thats weird, ive had 2 k plates 2 l plates 1 m plate a n plate 3 r plates and a t plate of my own and a load of tothers i stripped for parts and never seen one with out it

my super fast 12v never had one
if it doesnt have one then its easier to pipe it up
