I know this is a stupid subject, but i want to post an important letter which includes important documents, size of the envelop if 324mm by 229mm, im wondering how many stamps i will have to put on, as i know when i have sent a bigger envelop and only put on one stamp it never got sent.

I have looked on royal mail's website and its says

The maximum dimensions for a Large Letter are: 353mm x 250mm and no thicker than 25mm. It must be no heavier than 750g.

But does not give me an idea of how many stamps etc to use as i know all the system has changed

Best bet is to nip into the post office and ask them, They will advise you on the best thing to do

Was thinking of special delivery, only thing is, its in the same town and i find it a bit pointless sending it by special delivery but i think i best pop into post office if i have time

Thanks
