dont want to cancel my insurance as i'll miss out on a year no claim bonus, but I dont want to waste £150


any suggestions?



I feel im going to have to just lump it and pay out

Will the extra 1 year NCB lower your insurance by £150 come renewal? I had 3 months to go on mine and it didnt so wasnt worth the expense

just keep it running.

you'll most likely be saving more than £50 a month in petrol anyway if you're not driving so that will cover the cost.

Regardless I wont be in the country so The less going out of my bank the better

Nah its my only car, I sold the xr2i

Im more than likely to sell my gti now after speak to a mate

if you sell the car then you'd have to notify the insurance. if you have no car to change it over too then you will loose that years ncb

Cant u just buy a shitter to sit at a family members house and change the insurance over to it

ring them and tell them your circumstances, they may just give you the year NCB

buy a ciquecento 1.0 Mot failure or something similar for £50 and swap your insurance over to it, your premium should go down to cover the cost of the car
