I bought a Bora back at the end of august and havent really posted any pics up of it yet, so i thought today would be a good day to do it as i gave it its first proper clean since having it.

The swirling on the paintwork was pretty bad and the plastic trim was grey so decided to splash the cash and buy some proper cleaning equipment. So heres what i did:
1. Washed with Zymol Car Shampoo and chamoised dry
2. Applied PoorBoys Swirl remover with applicator pad and buffed with Micro fibre towel
3. Then i applied PoorBoys Professional Polish using the same method but buffed with a buffer
4. a good coat of Chemical Guys Acrylic Glaze, buffed with towel
5. PoorBoys Sealant was applied as the final coat then a good buff all over

So heres the end results:

Shoould be getting some rs4 wheels for it soon (hopefully before xmas) but im under strict rules that it cant be lowered

Looks smart!

What engine is it? Presumably a TDi of some sort?

Great colour too - how well did you get on with swirl removing - VAG paint is rock hard to correct lol.

that's washed but not fricking detailed people who say detailed make themselves look like idiots.

detailing is a specialist job, not just something you learn after 5 minutes.

cheers for the comments, its only a 1.6 in the process of debadging the back but have only managed the 1.6 bit so far.

Rich- the paint is a bit better but still pretty swirled, i think i need something a bit more abrasive on it?? :s

Ben- i know its not detailed its just it said it on all the polishes and that so i worte it. it also only took 2 hours to do so i know its nowhere near perfect. or detailed
