Tunable see around 200bhp with a remap
sound nice
prices are dropping
nice looking
Handling is very poor
MAF's like to die
Oh and they Dont handle well

From what I know from my mates cars and having a go...
Boost tails off quick past 4k cuz of baby turbo on most remapped ones i've seen
No lag, which is boring lol
Pants handling
Coilpacks pop up when remapped sometimes
Crap plastic waterpumps if not done can fail
Easy to drive though and getting cheaper, looking at them myself for some reason.

same shape as mine? or like dannylads?
if its like mine then yeh they dont handle at all imo not that i've driven one but mine doesnt at all. can be fairly tuneable depending on the size of your wallet.

p.s 20mm rear spacers is a must..
Never had problems with coil packs and maf's
engine was solid..
ko3 turbo boost tails off early..
ko3s doesnt

I have a mk4 exactly the same as Matt L's and no, neither mk3 or mk4 handle well and would need some serious "modificaytay" to get up to scratch

2001 is the Mk3 (basically a mk 2 facelift)

My MK4 Handles fine Never driven a MK3 so cant comment on them.

Yes that is true I haven't pushed it anywhere near as hard as my Corsa and it feels much better. I think saying they dont handle at all is a little bit harsh though.

I've pushed it hard and it doesnt like it! Plus mine would be worse anyway due to the fat diesel lump up front
