just got engaged, planning a wedding abroad, looking at a place in waikkal in Sri lanka, seems quite good, anyone been? whats the food/places like etc?

went to the maldives in september. was gonna do a twin centre with sri lanka originally but was advised against it by a friend who has his own travel agency due to the current political climate

plus we went 4* to the maldives and its not very luxurious. im assuming sri lanka will be virtually the same

the places are nice but a 4* in india is not like a 4* in europe/carribean/usa
