Just looking at booking the ferry etc. for the TT next year.

Never been before so just wondering if its a problem to get to and from the ferry on race days? Anyone been?

Cheers.

When we go we always stay a couple of nights which makes it easy to get out before the roads are closed. One bit of advice is to book early as it fills up months before.

I got a couple of prices for the ferry via direct ferries. One going from Heysham which is only over the bay from me was about £270. The one from Liverpool was about £190! Still expensive mind.

Was looking at steam packets website today and they want a £20 deposit now then they will let us know the final total in January Wont actually give a price, seems a bit open for them to charge what they like!
