My mum has had 4 missed calls from this number, and she finally answered it today, he mentioned something about a phone contract, and recently upgrading, and from what i have managed to find out, they appear to be some kind of scam using carphonewarehouse's name
This is where it gets strange, they confirmed the first line of our address and postcode, which i know can be got reasonably easily, but they also mentioned something about this is your PIN number for the contract or something
But the PIN they gave my mum, was exactly the same as her PIN code for her debit cards
Too much of a coincidence for me, has anyone else had anything like this?

you can't easily get a pin number from looking through rubbish bins.
what a load of bollocks.
Does sound dodgy.
Also, how can you change her PIN for her?

She doesnt have a PIN on her mobile, the pin was a number she was told needed to be quoted whenever she rang her phone company
Which is why it's even more dodgy, because she only had the code for her bank card, so it's hard to see how anyone could know, and too much of a coincidence that they just gave 4 numbers in exactly the same order
