I have now decided to ditch my PAS on my build.

Will i need a new rack?

Don't you just take the belt off that drives the power steering pump.??

I think you need a new rack otherwise it "runs dry" and will be very stiff steering. Sure I heard that somewhere.

im using a pas rack on mine with the pas stuff removed, and then just blanked off the pipes on the rack, been fine as its got less turns lock to lock than a standard non-pas rack.

EPAS goes heavy when parking though, especially on a 12v
