to turbo a 1.5 vtec civic?
or the 1.6 vtec

im just thinking a small turbo would give the vtec the tourqe the engine is missing low down.,

just wondering if it can be done and for how much....

It can be done, seen it loadsa times, lord knows how much it'd cost though.
I'm thinking of doing the same when I getta 1.6 VTEC Civic.

ive seen a turbo'd EK9 type r and a teggy


cant be that hard and I know the supercharger conversions are popular on the EP3's

The kits will cost a bomb now that Greddy and Trust have gone bust

But I guess there are other manufacturers who make kits...

lmao, i was just looking at them on YouTube. What shape civic you got? Im after a EG6 either B16a2 or Maybe a sneaky K20 engine, but there's non for sale they're so rare now days

my mate boosted his b16 with great results (360whp) for less than 2k. that was a cheapy ebay kit.
get yerself onto civiclife.net/forum. plenty of info on there

you can get the kits off ebay for about £1300 i think it is. easy enough to fit

tend not to include pistons though. although you can use ek9 pistons in the b16

A mate of mine is selling a turbo kit for £1200 i think with about only 200 miles on it.
includes turbo, pipes, intercooler and other stuff i'm sure.

friend of mine has a 1.6 was 350bhp then rebuilt with much upgraded spec, can be done hes spent stupid money but its worth it tbh
