same as spraying any other plastic (using plastic primer) except you don't rub all the grain off?

it has definately been sprayed, out of the gun proffesionally at a bodyshop, dunno how they did it but it still looks new and its been done a while now,

still havn't got a keyed surface for the paint to adhere to?
Maybe he has just sprayed it n not scratched it off yet!

I can confirm that the dash and other plastics are painted.
What we did at the bodyshop was to lightly key the surface with a scotch pad. Then a light spray of plastic primer was added. Then it was painted in the colour i wanted. The paint isn't just normal 2k paint. Its a matt enamel, so its pretty tough, hence there being no scratches. To sctratch it you'd need some force and a sharp object.
