i just bought some Caeros off Joe-Tait and i checked to see what rubbers i would need so that the speedo wouldn't go out of sinc, done my research and apparently the only suitable one's i can get without knocking it out of sinc is 195/30/15's

are these the only ones i can get?

or is there other options i can get?

cheers

get 195/45/15's most common size, and tbf clocks are out anyway so changing your wheels by such an amount will make little difference.

i had 195/45/15 on mine and like i say the clocks over read by about 3mph which is what most are.

Your speedo under-reads as standard, legally they are allowed to by up to 10% so if you are indicating 70 you are actually travelling 63ish.

Larger wheels usually just decreases that margin a little, so you may be closer to actual speed. If you are worried, go out with a hand held sat nav and compare that with your clocks. It'll be close enough.

http://www.autopartuk.com/tyrecalc.php

that tells you how much your speedo will be out by, and according to that the 195/30/15 are the closest. lol

Just to back up your thoery a little

Ive got 185/55/15s that come with my wheels i only bought yesterday and on the motorway at 70mph the speedo was pretty much 100% the same as the sat nav reading

so id say the higher the profile the better for speedo accuracy.
