What are they like mpg wise? have they suffered a tax increase?

only reason i ask is ive seen 3 of them in our workshop recently. part ex's aswell i think..

is everyone chucking them in?

crap mpg, expensive tax and not that nice to drive imo. If you dont need back seats a 350Z is is slightly less crap mpg, expensive tax but miles better to drive.

Hate them personally, crap cars. Buy a 350z if your after that sort of car granted it doesn't have rear seats but it's much better.

never been a fan of them but i guess they are good value for money now compared to when they were new.

there not that bad really. expect about 11mpg when trashed but u can get 25mpg outta them on a gental run.

the better option to go for is the 231ps 6spd version.

we've just taken deliverey of the new r3 versions at work and there greatly improved. 19" wheels, full kits, recaro interior,231ps as std but they've now been remapped to produce more torque and its really noticeable on the road.

as for the tax i dont think they have been effected yet. ours are £210 for 12months where as the mazda3 mps is £400 for 12months

11mpg? probably worse than my car then

mazda 3 mps is an awesome car. quite a bit faster than mine and looks so understated almost sleeperish!

Oil....crap
Petrol....crap
Reliability...crap


Not even that quick either.Avoid them.I used to work at a Mazda franchise.

On the plus side the interior and driving position are sweet

Well i think its the Prodrive, got Prodrive zaust, a PZ spoiler? Ghey M3 style mirrors, and some anthracite multispokes??
