Um....manifold bolts, you''ll be able to tell if they need doing up if it whistles when you put your foot down.

Also general rattles inside

Check the lower half of the boot sits ok, you should be able to sit on it without it creaking

The door struts are prone to getting loose and snapping if the doors and opened really far to oftenly

Urm other than that not much, get over to www.c2club.co.uk as there is a list of stuff to check

dont get one when i was looking it was between the ibiza and the c2.

the interior is god awful in the c2 imo, and they are easily nicked (i went to a dealer and he even told me that ).
and as leewee said the paddle shift isnt very good tbh.

Did you not learn from the Saxo?

it WILL go the same way as the saxo in terms of rattles etc.

obviously you'll get a newer car for your money compared to someting VAG etc, but that isn't everything tbh.

125bhp one is pretty quick tho

Your lucky. My mate has 56 plate VTS and its done about 13k and its dog shit - interior bits snap off (brittle) and the door card fell off a coulpe of time when you upton the door - a little pul on the dash and it comes off as a whole.....

I do like the rev counter tho and their checky styling - thats it tho

i quite like interior and things, mine is going on the road on wednesday so will keep u posted!

mine has doen 26k miles, i bought damaged repairable one, 05 reg and its cost me just over 3k including repair and mot etc! for a 3 year old car i am happy for a run a bout!

My mate has the VTS one. He's stripped it out in the back as the rear seats are pointless unless you are going away and want to put your toothbrush and toothpaste somewhere

He has a BB fitted so i can't here anything falling off, but when it's your own car you can always hear all the little noises.

Nippy, handles and brakes better than Corsas (well mine).

Yeah he did have the problem with the inlet nuts and the gearbox and a few other things but the warrenty sorted all that out.

I dont think the interior looks cheap at all.

They arent the quickest things on the road but are soo much fun that doesnt matter.

Brakes are very good it seems in all models

Mine doesnt have any rattles yet either, however give it time and there probably will be

Nipped into the garage to have a look after work, and they are tiny inside compared to the ibiza. Think if im going to get one, i may look for the vts (Without the gay gearbox)

Mike im really unsure what i want at the minute, all i know is i want a change, never had a car for longer than 12 months, and i think i never will
