I've had BT Broadband (option 3) for a while now, ive just moved from a village that could only have 6.5 Meg Broadband to a big town that has wifi etc etc, im confused becuase i cant view some pictures like the "300 pics" in the thread in Gen Chat. ive done an internet speed check and its saying im averaging 3.5 Meg WTF is going on...Any help would be grand, also anyone know a good internet speed check website. Ta

depend's on the time of days as to what speed you get..

and also how far from the exchange you are too - the further away the slower.

could be like that yes...


im on virgin, so no need to worry about exhages for speed, mine just slow's a bit during peek time's


also, the speed the give is only an estimate, and not always the speed you will or can receive too - quite a few variable's that can determin speed, apart from the two i mentioned above

yeah basically, with ADSL, depnds on how busy line is and how far you are from exchange. virgin is cable so don have those problms, instead you got the problem that, they are cunts
