Just explain what happened. 
 
Diagrams will be wanted too. (They normally send all this info to you a template form) 
 
Good idea for diagrams is google earth, print off a good map of the road and draw a diagram of what happened.

You just giving them a statement of facts? 
 
Keep it concise, don't make judgements unless you're clear, don't call anyone names,  don't admit doing anything wrong, quote from the RTA and Highway Code if you're sure they will help you. 
 
Maps are good, Google Maps is your friend.

Keep it cimple and precise. 
Dont state things your unclear on unless asked to by YOUR insurance company.

It's pretty simple, i as stoped in a junction, and i was hit by the car coming behind me, he admited it was his fault, for looking right, and not seeing me.....

Because he presents his facts and the other insurer either agree or dispute it.
