Is this a popular thing to be done? Is it an easy and relatively cheap thing to be done?

Only reason I ask, is I was watching Fifth Gear yesterday, which featured the car show at Disney Land, and the black Corsa C's they use are RWD. No silly wide arch body modifications to accomodate it. They looked standard. Even down to the Active alloys.

I know they have pretty much infinite amounts of money BUT surely if it cost that much, they'd use another car?!

They're rear engined rwd. Bike engines iirc so it's not exactly a small job. Easy and relatively cheap? No

I've been looking at this and have promised myself to do it to a corsa b at some point. Maybe when the wages are a bit better.

1300 hayabusa turbo would be rapid

No, but they look standard. Compared to some RWD things you see which look mental.

I wonder if they sell used ones

heres my thread from 2004
http://corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=159778

god knows where the pics are, but i think we came to the conclusion that they are rear engined, rear drive bike, powered machines. when you are queuing for the show, the queue goes past the maintenance area where you can see some being worked on. fairly complex looking bits of kit. look great fin to drive.
