Im 21 and got 5 GCSEs, but I now need atleast 2 A-levels in possibly Physics and Geography to go for the job I want, how long realistically will it take me to do it, and how will I go about it, also I work full time and cant exactly go to College although I could try and rearrange my hours to suit if thats the ONLY route.

The UCAS Tariff is a points system used to report achievement for entry into higher education. (University) The higher grades = more points = Possible better course at UNi. a-levels grades are a,b,c,d,e and U.
The UCAS Points are only gained from A-levels, diplomas, and BTEC awards i think.
As Robbo says part time course at a college is the one, but will be alot of work.

I wouldn't worry about UCAS points unless you are thinking of going to university...
On the last course I did (National Diploma IT A Level equivalent app) you needed x amount of UCAS Points to get onto course x
if that makes sense

Cant make head or tail of that, does that mean I need atleast a B in both subjects which will get me 200 UCAS points?

I would check that - 3 Bs at A-Level only gives you 300.

I got DDM (Distinction x2 Merit x1) on my National Diploma (Equivalent of A, A, C) not sure how many points that was though, can't see how you need points to get onto the course in the first place!?
edit: 320 points

whats the course? if its an geography or Physics a-level, UCAS points wont be needed. if they are needed for the course then you will have to gain the points from other courses first.

280 points from two GCE/VCE A levels or BTEC National qualifications, preferably including a natural science/social science (psychology/sociology) but excluding general studies

You will get the UCAS points when you have completed your qualification *
* = depending on what grades you get...

ahhh- so you need to obtain at least 2-A-levels which will gain 180 points.
if you did 2-a-levels you would need at least 1 B and 1 C to get 180 points.
