Its not all that tbh. Australia as a population of around 20million the percentage of male to female will be even.

I know 3 people that went over there at the same time about 4 months ago; 1 has a good job with 1 of the big accountancy firms and loves it, 1 is up on the slopes for 6 months then will come home and the other lasted a month and absolutely hated it.
I have no personal experience of Oz but it's not the perfect paradise it is painted out to be.

Nowhere is perfect for everyone though, the same can be said for every aspect of human life.

Yip, just saying it's not happy, happy land of lollipops and ice-cream as some seem to think it is.
It's almost became a fad to go to Australia just now.

I dunno, for me, I found a land of happy happy lollies and ice-cream, but Australia had the added bonus of a summer lasting more than 3 weeks
Its hard to gauge a country when a lot of people just go there for 2 weeks and form an opinion of it.
I found it such a breath of fresh air from overcrowded sinking Britain, but again, its down to taste.

The guy i know that came back said the women were ugly and the beer was expensive
He did say it differs hugely inland to the coast though!

I'm guessing it depends where you drink, if you drink in a popular city bar the drinks are London prices, but go to a city wetherspoons style pub and the drinks are cheaper than the UK. The ratio of munters to minters is probably the same as here.
