Gentlemans agreement between manufacturers will have all limited to 186mph. 'offically'. However some can be unrestricted simply by changing a resistor within the ECU circuitry. Some ZX14's, ZX12R's and Hayabusa's that make good power as standard and have been unrestricted should touch 200mph, and no doubt the MV.
PS Nice bike

My mates got a busa, when I've been out riding with him you think you're blasting along and he'll open the taps and shoot off as if I'm stood still.
He's had it over 200 on the clocks... once

Nope, it never made 200mph, it officially done 196mph. its actuallly Kwaks 1400 thats faster at 198mph when de-restricted. An agreement came in to "limit" them to 186mph ( just why???). U'll need some exhaust, inlet, and a power commander at the very least to break 200mph, and a very long road. Getting those last few mph takes a lot of power. Ignore ANY jap speedo, they over-read more than 10 vauxhalls put together. i've seen 260 on a Busa speedo, really, it was morelike 210mph (turbo'd, nitrous etc).
What you got to remember though, is that they are purley straightline weapons. The MV is a RACE bike, designed to go round corners, not about straightline speed....... Thats why i think its so amazing.
Keep ya Jap crap (says a jap owner )

There was a straightliners event at Elvington a couple of weeks back, I think the highest speed was 255mph on a Busa Turbo
And 155mph was the fastest wheelie

255, you sure Graeme, didn't think Elvington was long enough.
I thought super tuned ones we're morelike 230mph region?
Wheelie speed isn't impressive, think Ghostrider was doing wheelies, on the roads on hgis 500bhyp streetfighter busa a few years back, well over 170mph. Its still trying to lift the front at those speeds. Sure theres a vid of a bloke on a kwak doing 280kph, and Ghostrider comes past, on 1 wheel, like the Kwacks in reverse

Only 2001 busa models onwards were restricted to 186mph. The early ones have 198mph top speed.
Suzuki put a rev limit on top gear 10,200rpm instead of 11,000rpm. They put alternative length trumpets in the air box and put small holes in the air box so that at speed there is less pressure building up. But you can buy the equal length trumpets, and bungs for the air box direct from Suzuki, and you can fit 1999 clocks to take the rev limit off top gear (the ones that go to 220mph).

These were with a 1k run up Daimo, so I'm sure these could get more with a bigger run up.
Just looked it up
Fastest wheelie: 166.9mph
Fastest fly by: 255.5mph
They were in the Unlimited category, highest speed on a stock bike was 198mph on an R1

Bike instructors wanted it put back 6 months and wrote to the government about it, but i haven't heard any more and looks like it will still go ahead come end of September.

its not really a problem, its just a few manouvres you have to do on a car park before they let you on the road, but if i'm correct there will be no points system if you pass the car park bit (which will be fucking easy).

Only problem is there is only something stupid like 30 test centres ready for the whole country come end of September, so will be silly hard to get a test.
