As above.I know it gets asked every single day but my question is a bit different to the norm

Got banned for 6 mth on the totting up act and now my ban is up and my application for my licence has been proccesed so i can legally drive now.But last night my GF tried to put me on her policy but they said they cant insure me because of the ban.She with Endsleigh and her insurance is for a 2.0 XE corsa.
My code will be TT99.

So who is best to go with to declare points on a modified car??
I cant try "confused" as it always comes back no results as soon as u tell them its modified.

So who else is good and is there any of u guys been in the same situation??

Well ive just done a quick search for a standard corsa sport 1.4 16v and it was under £600.
Now when she had it in her own name without the 2.0 in it she was paying more than that. When we done the conversion it went up to unde £800 a month,so tbh i dont think its gonna be too bad.

Remember i am 24 with 1 yr ncb aswell.

Well after i done my quotes on Moneysupermarket i was called up by MyQuote who got a quote of £4500 everything declared. That put the shits up me but not to worry as he put me thro to some1 else who ran some details then put me onto Adrian Flux who then quoted me £962 which is a good bit better.
Just waiting for a call back from the 2nd guy then hes gonna put me thro to Premium Choice,Sky Insurance and then Herts to see if any of them can beat it.

So no as bad as i thought it was gonna be.

getting banned for totting up wont effect it to much (if its a tt99) plus your 24

I had 9 points come of my liscene and the difference without them was about £100 cheaper

where you live plays a much bigger factor than points (within reason)

Was just put thro to Sky Insurnace and they are over £2k.
Everybody that calls me asks what my best quote was and if it was with Adrian Flux, then at the end they say they knew they cudnt beat them for modified cars.
