My mates dad owns a Lexus and a few Toyota dealerships, so he brought home the new IS-F tonight it was exactly like this one. He also let me have a drive of it, which was nice/very brave of him.



Pretty quick car, Lexus' answer to the M3/RS4. Felt just ask quick as my dad's old RS4, just didn't rev as high as the Audi unit which kind of hampered the performance a little. I'd say it was on par though, the gear changes were lightening quick. Had 8 gears though, which I didn't see as necessary. Forever trying to find the right gear. Also the interior is a bit naff, for a £50k car it just wasn't special. Had all the toys as standard though, but the Audi is a nicer place to be. Overall it was pretty impressive, not as sure footed as the Audi at high speed but it was a bit damp out and I didn't want to do anything too stupid. Easily the fastest car I've driven and been allowed to thrash it a little bit.

Hmm, not keen on that. The front looks wrong. Too many angles and bulges.

To be fair, it looks nice in the flesh. If not a little OTT, just the exhausts are mega gay.
