I'm in the middle of making a kit to Lock and Unlock my car with the Handbrake.
Basically it will work like this:
Get into your car
Turn Ignition on
Release the Handbrake
Doors Lock
Apply Handbrake
Turn Ignition off
Doors Unlock
This will only work with the Ignition turned on and can also be made switchable.
Would there be any interest in this?
I know some may say that its pointless because you can just reach over and push the pin down then pull it back up again when you want to exit your car's.
Personally, i think this is a good safety feature, especially if you live in a rough area.
The kit would cost roughly £20 including 1st class recorded delivery (yet to be confirmed)
If any of you would like this kit then PM me so i know its worth making.
Comments Welcomed, Good or not so good.
Thanks for reading.

Somebody with vagcom will be able to turn it off in the fabia, or a dealer.

Obviously you have to put the handbrake on and switch off the ignition whilst being roasted alive, duh.

My pug does this. As soon as you move off it locks the doors. As soon as you pull the door release it unlocks.
It's not a bad thing to have

So does my car, its pretty useful I think...
But having to put the hand brake up and turn the ignition off to unlock the doors is a ridiculous idea.

Aye, the older model 307 gives you the button option. Has a little light on the button which my Dad was impressed with as his Picasso doesn't. Mine is better still as i have the light and aut locking feature Can't find a way of turning the fucker off though
