would you buy one if its history is known?
how much less are they worth, say its normal value would be 1.2k ish
how much more roughly more do the insurance charge to cover one?

It's only on a Q because there is a query on record about the cars history. I'd buy one if it was the right car and the details were present.
As said, some kit cars are on Q's, but then that's because they have been built out of bits for a scrappy

I saw a Subaru Impeza at Brands hatch on a Q plate, it was last years model too. Very bizarre.

I'd think it would be worth less. However, i'd want something like an XR2 for keeps or until it's death so wouldn't bother me the plate.

Q plates are not always dodgy
Can be vechs imported from other countries but original ddocuments are lost for example and are then put onto a Q plate as its new registration

Precisely, most imported cars can be put on a "Q" plate if their is no adequate or spare year plate for them.
