i have a garage but its a council garage with no electricity in it but was wondering is there any way i could get some bright lighting in my garage.

any suggestions please?

Old car battery wired up to some led lighting.

Or some of them stick on lighting you can get runs off batterys.

or solar lighting

You can run 240V tubes if you get a pure sine inverter, the cheaper inverters cant run fluorescent lights

You can get 12V fluorescent lights from caravan shops I think, might be worth a look to see what they have

Not easily. 12v lights are poor, LEDs even worse and an inverter will kill the battery after 20 minutes.

When i had an old council garage i got a generator that ran off diesel..Had a 240v socket on it so i jusu wired u a few 90w bulbs

Yea it was quite noisy. so i made sure the wire connecting it to the lights was long enough to position it outside and around the back

How about an extension cord from the house with some fluorescent tubes wired with plugs on the end. sorted unless the house is a mile away

my house is about 15 meters away but would have to run a vey long extension lead ur through a ally way and car park

You can get some very bright leds now but unless you run an extension anything battery powered won't last very long.

I have these fron costco, they are good but no chance of working with them as the only light source.

Extensions aren't expensive.
