At the moment I have Team Dynamic Monzas that require spacers to fit around the brembos, now ive been advised that running spacers isnt good for a track car and I understand this will put excess stress on the bearings, are there any other flaws? Im looking into investing in some new track wheels which I will wrapping in 888s. So what do people suggest? I mean I want something light, looking good is nice but not priority. If I find out the difference in weight isnt worth the extra money for aftermarket alloys I may go with 205 GTI wheels, that is if they fit over the brakes. Been thinking speedline turinis, oz super leggeras, speedline comp 2s, even comp mos. Dont even know about colour. Thanks

They are not super ultra light, but they will be lighter than your monzas i would have thought. They give you the weights on Rimstocks website i think, I like them, decent quality wheel. Just a bit of a pain to clean. Cheap enough as well.

The monzas arent advertised as a motorsport wheel as such, id imagine they probably are. Dont know why he sold that rallye, I first saw it at FCS 07 and wanted it so much.

Sold it cos he wants to do hillclimbing, its overspecced for the class it would be competetive in.

Ive done in the last 10 months Oulton Park and The Nurburgring and about 8000 road miles with 10mm spacers on the front. 'Having problems' is sooo internet scare mongering I understand that it will put more strain on suspension and steering parts but its not going to be enough to kill them in a noticable shorter amount of time imo.

Ive never heard anything about it on the net to be honest, was told when I took my car to tweeqd and since ive heard the same from people. Thing is with an LSD and 888s the stress is only going to emphasized which makes me worry more. It wont cost me much more to upgrade once the monzas are gone, they dont suit much anyway tbh.

I'd say Pro Race 1.2's, or...if you have some more to spend...O.Z. SuperTurismo's.

My wheels look like the super turismos, dont really think multispokes suit that much.
