What are you gabbing on about? How can they have nothing to do with the recording?!
I'm sure, like most bands and artists, theynwould have had input to how it was recorded, mixed and mastered.
Plus, what actually wrong with the recording? How'd you know they didn't want it like that? All you're stating is that you would change things, doesn't mean it would be better and it doesn't mean that the recording is shite.
Plus you're making a judgment on a heavily compressed mp3.
Back to topic, i'm pretty impressed sounds really good. You guys got an EP/Album out?

I didnt mean they dont have anything to do with it themselfes! I meant that they had nothing to do with mic placement, mixing etc etc
I think the music is bloody good!

Whittie, yes I am, the drummer was in my class at the Academy of
contempary music (ACM)
To answer the others, James writes everything, he is a really good
songwriter, he does come up with ideas for drums and so do I.
The recording was done for free, the mixing I think he's paid about £200-
300 for, recorded at a college. the guy that has mixed does work for sony,
and his way of doing things, so another producer would sound different,
we listened to the takes and had our input on levels etc.
James wants to send it off to various people and sell it ourselves and see
what happens, He's always coming up with songs
