Was only 10 mins away from me, the place they crashed is a popular country residence place that people go to have fun at the weekends, could have been really bad if they had crashed into a crowd.

You can easily miss other aircraft when you have bright sun, haze and clouds dotted about. I believe it was a twin engine Cessna VS. a Microlight class aircraft. The twin would have probably been going very fast in comparison to the other aircraft reducing the amount of time the pilots had to react. The airspace the incident happened is uncontrolled so no radio contact is required, plus, in that area between Birmingham and London it is incredibly busy with light aircraft.
