Rite my girlfriends 2nd year service is due on her 1.2 sxi 56 plate. I have rang vauxhall and they have quoted £172 for this; is this a fair price?
Also am i able to take the car elsewhere to be serviced with invalidating her warranty?
Thanks

Doesn't seem bad.
Find a local 'Bosch' garage. They are often cheaper than dealerships, and won't invalidate, 'cause they use genuine parts.
What is involved in the '2 year' service?

Not from where i am sitting it's not a fair price. Check your service book and what they actually do. Peugeot wanted £225 to change an oil filter, engine oil, air filter and pollen filter on a 20k service. They can lick my balls if i am paying £225 for that!
I gave them a quick call, said if i use genuine Peugeot parts and use a genuine garage i keep any warentry left on the car. Cost me £60 for parts and my mate works for a garage who did all the work and stamped the service book.

Anybody can service it as long as Genuine parts are used. £172 seems a bit steep tho, unless they've automatically quoted for Brake Fluid change (due every 2yrs). "nd year is pollen, fuel, oil, and remote battery i think??
