It changes on 28th September. Doing my DAS with Shires who are based in Derby but my test is in Burton (running out of slots anywhere now before the law changes)

Well done Kano, stay safe!

How many days was the DAS over Kano?
been reading that there has been a 22% increase on new bike purchases in the last month, whereas car sales have dropped 13%
I need to get me a bike.

After 28th September the test will comprise of an off-road control/manuevours circuit to demonstrate bike control before you even get out onto the highway. Effectively means that you could fail before you've even left the test centre.

There will be limited test centres that will have the space to provision such changes and fee's are expected to rise.

Get it done sooner rather than later but I think you'll be struggling now.

I did three 2 hour lessons on a supplied bike (their own), for £50 each. Then took my test and passed with 3 minors, it worked out cheaper for me so long as I passed first time.

Just in after a 250 mile round trip to Oban.. Went with a mate whos been riding for years so he could control the pace and give me some feedback. Felt much more comfortable after a few hours but the speed is still unreal..

Didnt have any points where I felt out my depth but we weren't going for it, fancy living more than one day..
