I work for an engineering company and one of the engineers has just been outside to put something into our skip and guess what......

the bloody skip has been stolen!!!!

Im guessing it was people after scrap metal, but best of it is, it was fully of just rubbish, no metal at all.

Its depressing the fact that you cant even have somewhere to keep rubbish anymore without it worrying about it being nicked!

Are you sure the skip company hasn't emptied it to return it.

no metal apart from what the skip is made from. scrap steel is very valuable atm.

I'm pretty sure someone would have noticed if a bunch of pikey minks stole it, i would suggest phoning the vendor the skip was hired from

phoned them and they have no record of it being picked up, plus its never picked up anyway its emptied on site and then left here.

its just been confirmed by the skip hire people and it has 100% been stolen...

Why the hell someone didnt notify the police that a skip was being lifted in the middle of the nite is beyond me...

Yip, the skip will be worth a few bob and in a time when most trampy thieves won't have a few bob that's a lot.

it wasnt even just a small tipper skip, it had a lid on which was locked aswell...
