What reg, and what engine is it??
Does the reg and engine matter? The car was a total one off, so highly done and maintained with endless peices of attention to detail. It wasn't just a Corsa on Speelines. The Girl got it for a fraction of the cost to build!
Ashley, how's your old man going to get on now he doesn't have the Corsa to mod?

Is it still under warranty then? Thats the only reason I'd go down the JCW route, my car had it fitted from new at around £4000!!!!
You can get the same sort of power (210bhp) miles cheaper than that from loads of places! Think Ill probably go down this route with the GF's car cos that extra 45 or so horsepower makes such a big difference!!!
is it that much difference then? as i had a play with one in my cooper s and he didnt seem to be much faster than me?

It was a 1.6 16v Sport with Aircon.
I didnt get 7.5k, i got 3k less, but it sold, which i knew was not going to be easy....
I am going the JCW route as i have a friend who does the conversions at BMW for a job
My dad and I will take on a project car soon, we are thinking a Mk1 Escort, in Baby Blue with a Cosworth engine...

Aw hey Ashley that's sad about your car. I had my corsa nearly eight years and was sad to see it go when I sold it last year so kinda know how you feel but at the end of the day it is just a car isn't it really But you've done the right thing You won't regret it! The mini's not to my taste, but congrats and good luck with your new car!

I'm a bit taken aback that you took a £3k dip

Yes i got 4.5k for it... Not what i wanted but from what i can see modified cars are not selling and as insurance is going up asmuch as it is.
The girl is paying 2k for insurance...
I was never going to make money on doing the car, but my parents made me laugh when they said but look on the bright side you got more than you paid for it!! lol
